Internet Self Efficacy Measure : The Studies

A review about the development of a general internet attitude scale and internet self-efficacy scale is important in order to measure the attitudes of users regarding using the Internet. Previously, research has had difficulty clarifying some of the issues that serve to obfuscate the potential benefits of using the Internet. InThis study, a general internet attitude scale and internet self-efficacy scale were developed in order to measure the attitudes of users towards and confidence with using the Internet. The former was developed in order to assess how users perceive their use of theInternet; while the latter was designed to measure users’ attitudes towards andconfidence with their own online selves. These scales were found to be useful in measuring attitudes towards and confidence with usingtheInternet.
